PRESENTATION
The Atelier 106, established in 2009 by Aurélie Monty, specializes in designing cardboard furniture. In 2006, the desire to create furniture using only recycled materials led Aurélie Monty to begin crafting cardboard furniture.
For 5 years, she has been using salvage art and remains committed to sustainable development in its work.
Aurélie Monty has also mastered techniques that allows the cardboard furniture to remain strong while remaining versatile.
THE CARDBOARD for solid furniture
Material of construction in the same way as wood or metal, cardboard works differently. It is equipped with a high resistance (150 kgs/cm2), and offers a total creative freedom.
It is because complex construction structures, adapted to each type of furniture and his job, that cardboard furniture is strong, durable, and perfectly suited to daily use.
The wide variety of decorative finishes is also adapted to the use of furniture: vitrified, they are washable and resistant to tasks and moisture. Coated with coatings, patinated, lacquered or Oilskin they are more sophisticated and a near maintenance of wooden furniture.
